Chris P. is an IMLP with GE Energy in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from The University of Georgia in 2010 with a BBA in Management Information Systems. Chris enjoys going back to Athens to see the Bulldogs play at home and to catch up with old friends that are still hanging around the old college town. He enjoys playing sports, which as he ages, seems to be more aligned with men’s softball, cricket, and golf with fellow employees. Chris also likes music, ranging in sorts from the mystical rhythms of Zeppelin to the deep soul of Dusty Springfield.

Corinne B. is an IMLP with GE Capital in Stamford, CT. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University's with a B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis, with a focus in Information and Cyber Security and a minor in Information Sciences and Technology. Her favorite technology topics are penetration testing, intrusion detection, and other security related topics. Corinne is originally from Pottstown, PA and is an avid baseball fan, especially the Philadelphia Phillies. In her free time she enjoys reading, keeping in touch with friends, hanging out with family, social media, shopping, and being active.

Jesse C.is a Corporate IMLP from Lee, MA where he graduated second in his class, was captain of his soccer/tennis teams and a member of the band playing alto and baritone saxophone. He recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Computer Science and Minor in Mathematics. Within the field of CS he is drawn the area of Security and Privacy

In his free time Jesse is a huge fan of all New England Sports: the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox. In addition to this, Jesse loves to both play and watch soccer playing on various indoor soccer teams. In addition to playing soccer he also enjoys playing Tennis, Golf, wakeboarding, and water skiing. Lastly, he is an avid videogame enthusiast ranging from a good game of halo to assembling his own gaming computer.

Jesse’s favorite movies are Gladiator, Step Brothers, Anchorman, The Matrix and many more. He enjoys the music of Dave Matthews, Reggie and the Full Effect, Aesop Rock, Rage Against the Machine and pretty much anything else except Country.

Lorenzo M. is an IMLP with GE Oil & Gas in Florence, Italy. He graduated from University of Pisa with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2006. Lorenzo spent six months as an intern followed by an IM Data Analyst role in 2008 before joining GE IMLP full time in January 2010. Lorenzo is interested in emerging technologies, social media, data visualization; he is also fond of origami and crafts. He was born and raised in Volterra, Italy.

Mark C. is an IMLP with GE Healthcare currently located in Princeton, NJ. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2010 with a B.S. in Management Information Systems and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He is originally from Barrington, RI where he caddied from the age of 12 until finally joining the real world and interning at Fidelity Investments in 2009. Mark has always been intrigued by emerging technologies and most recently by the power of social media tools in society today. He also enjoys traveling, being on the ocean, skiing, and golfing as well as watching and participating in many other sports.

Mikey B.Mikey Brown is an IMLP representing GE Aviation in Cincinnati, OH. He had interned with GE in the summer of 2009 with GE Transportation in Erie, Pennsylvania. Before joining IMLP, Mike received his B.S. in Management Information Systems from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. His interest lies in new web-based technologies and helping the functional side of the business adapt to new IT implementations. In his free time Mikey enjoys being outdoors skiing, plaing volleyball, running, and biking. He also enjoys playing piano and spending time with his fellow IMLP’s!

Ravikanth G. is an IMLP with GE Appliances & Lighting in Bangalore, India. He completed his M.B.A from Sri Sathya Sai institute of Higher Learning in the area of General Management in 2010 and B.Tech in computer science form Pondicherry Engineering College in 2005. Prior to joining IMLP at GE, he worked as a Senior Engineer – Design & Development at Tata Elxsi Ltd, Bangalore. His interests include Computer Networking, C programming and Operating systems, Finance. Outside his work he loves to listen to music, spend time with friends in travel and exploring new food places, and spend some time on community related projects.

Ross is an IMLP with GE Corporate, China. He graduated with Master of Engineering Management from University of Melbourne in Australia and Bachelor of Software Engineering from Northeastern University in China. He enjoys the engaging and fulfilling work life in GE, and loves going to beautiful beaches on sunny days. In his spare time, he plays sports such as basketball and pingpang. Ross is also passionate in promoting IMLP branding awareness and recruitment.

Sachit. is an IMLP with GE Capital in Stamford, CT. Before joining GE, he graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Information Systems. Sachit is interested in the intersection of technology and design. In his free time, he enjoys (speed) reading, writing, watching Manchester United dominate in fútbol and spending time on Twitter at @SachitGupta.

Shalini B. is an IMLP with GE Appliances & Lighting, Hyderabad, India. She completed her Engineering from BRECW-Hyderabad with Electronics major. She then joined GE as a GET in the year 2008. Her hobbies include reading articles related to Astronomy/Space, listening to light music and reading spiritual books. She likes to spend time with her family. She likes watching movies related to Astronomy such as Apollo 13, iRobot and of similar kind.

Srinivasan S. is an IMLP with GE Appliances & Lighting, Hyderabad, India. He completed his Engineering from IIIT-Hyderabad with a Computer Science major. He followed it up with Masters in Business Management from IIM-Kozhikode (2007-09) He worked with a Mumbai-based startup for less than a year in the field of advertising before directly joining as an IMLP. A movie buff, Srinivasan also loves writing fiction, playing table tennis and following cricket and soccer. He is an avid computer gamer with keen interest in LAN games like Counter Strike and Battlefield. In his spare time, he likes doodling, browsing, listening to music, reading manga and watching sitcoms. His favorite movies include The Man from Earth, Scent of a Woman, Pans Labyrinth, Snatch, Rashomon, My Sassy Girl, Taare Zameen Par, Children of Heaven and plenty more.

Andrea C. is an IMLP with GE Oil & Gas in Florence, Italy. He’s a graduated from the University of Siena in 2010 with a PhD in Quantum Information Systems. Before IMLP he spent his IMLP Internship in IM Engineering team in Florence. Andrea was born in Perugia and raised in Siena, Italy. He love playing Tennis, sailing during the summer and going jogging in the Tuscan countryside with his golden retriever Quark. He enjoys also skiing in the Swiss Alps and travelling in different countries. During his PhD he has been a visiting student in London, Boston and Toronto. During this period he got interested in Advanced Computing systems like Quantum computing and Tera-device parallel programming. Andrea also likes music, in particular pop rock, but his passion is without any doubts U2, dreaming to see them live once. He does his best work in the afternoon, when people leave the office and he is able to get things done.

Anthony Q. is an IMLP with GE Capital in Connecticut. He’s originally from Park City, UT. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Masters’ degree in Information Systems Management in 2009 and Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management with a B.S. in Information Systems in 2008. Before joining GE, he spent 2 years in Brazil, 4 months in Mozambique, and completed internships with Ernst & Young in Seattle and Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C. Anthony is married with 1 son. When he is not playing around with technology or hanging out with his family, Anthony enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, photography, being outdoors and playing sports.

Brandy M. is and an IMLP with GE Appliances & Lighting, currently living in Louisville, KY. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2010 with a degree in Political Science. Her father was in the Air Force while she was growing up, so “where she’s from originally” is never an easy question to answer. Brandy has lived in California, Kansas, Alabama, Alaska, and Indiana, but typically calls San Antonio, TX her hometown. Brandy had a summer internship with GE where she became a big fan of both the company and Louisville, a city she had previously known very little about. Among other things, she enjoys reading, running, learning how to cook, watching musicals and plays, and making frequent visits to her alma mater.

Gabriel.is an IMLP with GE International in Sao Paulo/SP, Brazil. He was born in Belo Horizonte/MG but lived most of his life in Vespasiano/MG. He graduated from Faculdade Cotemig with a BS in Information Systems. Prior to joining the IMLP, he worked as a YMCA Camp Counselor in Texas, then joined GE Transportation in Contagem as a co-op and worked there for over 2 years, being the last six months as full-time employee. In his spare time, you will find him hanging out with friends, running, swimming, reading (books, blogs and articles) and talking to people. His technology interests include social media, gadgets, mobile phones, emerging technologies and tools for collaboration and productivity.

Jon B. is an IMLP with GE Transportation in Erie, PA. He graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Management Information Systems in 2007. He has held various positions within GE Transportation over the past 4 years, and is currently in his 3rd rotation supporting a GE startup business, officially called "GE Energy Storage", but affectionately known as the "Battery Facility." Jon's hobbies include playing video games, guitar, and Frisbee as well as traveling and hiking. He will be participating in the Megatransect in October of 2011.

Kirsten L. is an IMLP with GE Transportation in Erie, PA. She graduated from Clarkson University in May 2010 with a B.S. in Engineering Management with a minor in Supply Chain Management. Her initial GE experience was an operations management internship, where she managed parts flow and created reports for a new assembly line. Kirsten’s interest in the use of technology to support and improve operations led her to the IMLP program, where her varied background has served her well thus far. Outside of work, Kirsten likes to spend time outside (hiking, skiing, playing tennis), baking (bread and any imaginable dessert), and getting lost in books (and used book stores).

Sarah M. is an IMLP with GE Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is originally from Milan, Indiana – the town and high school on which the movie ‘Hoosiers’ was based. She graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Technology Management. During her 4 years in school, Sarah participated in a number of study abroad and volunteer programs, traveling to China, Europe, and Costa Rica in doing so. She also completed two internships at Deloitte Consulting in Chicago during her summers. Now, Sarah enjoys exploring her new home she calls Milwaukee, trying new restaurants, catching up on movies, Pilates, and staying in touch with friends.

Matt B. is the Global Program Manager for the IMLP. A fourth-generation GE employee, Matt grew up near Schenectady, NY: the birthplace of GE! He has a BS in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from the University at Albany and joined GE as a full-time IMLP after three internships with GE Energy. Since graduating from the IMLP, he held several roles within GE Energy, Corporate, Capital, Aviation, and NBC Universal before returning to GE Corporate to lead the Program. Matt is a true technologist at heart and started programming when he was 12. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, photography, playing the saxophone, and seeing movies.

Jeff M. is an IMLP with GE Healthcare in Milwaukee, WI. He is currently the imlpblog's leader.  He graduated from Creighton University with a B.S. in Management Information Systems and Marketing in 2009. Jeff spent the 2008 summer at GE Healthcare as an intern before joining GE IMLP full time. Jeff is interested in emerging technologies, social media, and viral marketing.  He was born and raised in Omaha, NE and loves water sports and basketball.

Maurice is an IMLP with GE Capital in Danbury, CT. He graduated from WPI with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2009. Born in Queens, NY but raised in Panama, City of Panama, Maurice spends his time out side of work playing videogames, sleeping, traveling, listening to podcasts, chilaxing with friends and family and sharing his life experiences along with interesting articles and information via twitter @morficus. Among his top interests are software engineering, web-based technologies, distributed computing, anything Linux, open source design and distribution, Internet culture, social media and tech gadgets (especially the portable kind).

Jeff W. is IMLP Blog's Branding Lead currently working in Louisville, KY as an IMLP with GE Consumer and Industrial.  In May 2009, he graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.S. in Management Information Systems and a minor in Finance.  Jeff had one internship with GE Consumer and Industrial during the summer of 2008, where he worked on SOX-related projects.  Jeff's interests include hanging out with friends, playing basketball, researching new gadgets and technologies, and enjoying all that Louisville has to offer.

Will is an IMLP with GE Capital in Stamford, CT. He's a Jersey native who graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Information Management & Technology in 2009. Before joining GE full time, Will interned with International Planning Alliance and acted as a consultant for CuseCar in Syracuse. Will's technology interests include web development, social media, online apps, and his iPhone. Will also enjoys volunteering as an EMT, ultimate Frisbee, a good happy hour, traveling, family, and working on his new joint blog ThruIT.com.

Alana is an IMLP with Energy Infrastructure. She graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Information Management & Technology and Marketing in 2008. Before joining GE full time, Alana two summer internships with GE in 2006 and 2007. Alana's technology interests include cyber ethics, podcasting, internet law, gadgets, digital photography, product management, online shopping, research methodologies, SEO, and digital marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, her macbook pro, blogging, hanging out with her 6 siblings, coffee, and reading (rss feeds and real books). 

Shane is an IMLP at GE Capital in Stamford, CT.  He’s originally from Southern Maryland and graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2009. Before joining GE, Shane interned for the National Football League IT, Lockheed Martin, and Office Depot Corporate. At the NFL, he setup and maintained computer equipment for SuperBowl XLI in Miami, FL and got to be present at the game to ensure everything ran smoothly. Shane is passionate about IT, electronics, robotics, and emerging technologies. In his free time he likes to go snowboarding, wakeboarding, rock climbing, SCUBA diving, as well as experiment with home built computers, servers, electronics, and robots.

Andrew K. is an IMLP with GE Healthcare located in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a BBA in Management Computer Systems.
